Diving

The Mombasa Marine Park and National Reserve's pristine beauty has been kept in check by the efforts of the Kenya Wildlife Service. The reefs are of different types; there are multicolored hanging reefs and large corals, which complement the soft smooth sandy bottoms.

The park is 10 km2 (2,500 acres) while the reserve is 200 km2 (49,400 acres) and provides some of the best diving in the world. The Marine life is incredible with plentiful and diverse fish life. Scuba Divers and Snorkelers get to experience, first hand the large pelagic game fishes like the barracuda and explore intricate reefs and caves.
